For more information, visit our website at www.kiindustries.com or call \+52 (442\)139 0879 **About the Position** As a Project Quality Engineer at KI Industries Inc., you will be responsible for ensuring that new projects and engineering changes meet required customer and organizational quality standards—from development through validation and production release. You will also serve as the primary liaison between engineering, production, suppliers, and customers on all quality-related matters during the launch phase. This position offers a unique opportunity for professional growth and development within KI. **Responsibilities** * Participate in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) for new products and engineering changes. * Develop and maintain quality system documents such as **Control Plan**, **Process FMEA**, and **Work Instructions**. * Coordinate and execute Product and Process Validation (PPAP), including collection of documentary evidence and laboratory test results. * Monitor compliance with Customer-Specific Requirements (CSR) and standards such as **IATF 16949 and VDA 6\.3**. * Lead problem-solving activities during development using tools such as **8D, Ishikawa, and 5 Whys**. * Coordinate First Article Inspection (FAI) and process audits. * Ensure proper implementation of lessons learned in new launches. * Support production and quality teams when issues arise related to new products. * Participate in design reviews (DFMEA, DVP\&R) together with product engineering. * Interact directly with customers on quality matters during the launch phase. * Manage deviations and change requests (SCARs, waivers) where applicable. **Experience** 3 years in a similar role. **Technical Competencies:** * APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan. * Core Tools (MSA, SPC, PFMEA, Control Plan, PPAP). * Blueprint interpretation (GD\&T). * Standards knowledge: IATF 16949, ISO 9001, VDA 6\.3\. * Quality management systems. * Root cause analysis (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa). **Education** Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
