Role Summary The Developer – Retail POS (Integration/Extensions) supports the development and maintenance of integrations between Point of Sale systems and enterprise retail platforms. This role focuses on building and enhancing POS extensions, APIs, and integration components under the guidance of senior developers and architects. The developer will work closely with integration, QA, and functional teams to ensure reliable data flow, stable store operations, and high quality delivery across retail environments. Role Summary The Retail POS Technical Architect will be responsible for designing, governing, and guiding the implementation of modern in store Point of Sale solutions across retail environments. This role bridges business requirements and technical execution, ensuring scalable, secure, and high performance POS architectures across store formats. Experience: 10–14 years of overall IT experience, with 6\+ years in Retail POS / Store Systems architecture Key Responsibilities : 1\. Define end to end POS technical architecture including store systems, integrations, and deployment models. 2\. Translate retail business requirements into scalable Java based POS designs and technical blueprints. 3\. Lead POS customizations, extensions, and integrations with ERP, OMS, payments, loyalty, and promotions. 4\. Provide architectural oversight during development, testing, rollout, and production support phases. 5\. Collaborate with product owners, delivery teams, and client stakeholders to ensure architecture compliance and best practices.
