Join us and be part of something extraordinary! **Welding Process Engineer** =================================== Country/Region: MX Location: El Salto, JAL, MX, 45680 Req ID 87704 \| El Salto, Mexico, ZF Suspension Technology Guadalajara, S.A. de C.V. **Job Description** ------------------- **About the Team** Ensure that production processes on assigned lines meet customer requirements based on company techniques, procedures, and policies, with the objective of achieving the Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Morale targets defined in the business plan, thereby ensuring attainment of Business Unit objectives. **What can you expect as a Welding Process Engineer?** * + Conduct process audits + Design, coordinate manufacturing, maintain, and/or modify tooling required to operate production lines under your responsibility, enabling continuous improvement of established manufacturing standards by implementing poka-yokes and preventive maintenance. + Perform welding activities using various welding technologies to collect data describing material joint characteristics, including material identification, joint geometry, weld bead dimensions, and weld types. + Commission welding equipment on production lines. + Manage operational parameters of production processes to maintain and improve process results, as well as implement new strategies: Operator Panel Parameters, Welding Parameters, and Monitoring Windows must be defined with corresponding statistical analysis. + Start up and operate welding equipment by adjusting various working parameters (electrical power, current, welding voltage, gas flow rate and pressure, type and flow rate of shielding gas, and filler material feed speed). + Define process flow and layout of lines under your responsibility using line balancing tools, time and motion analysis, and ergonomics to optimize company resources. + Develop operation manuals for line equipment under your responsibility to deliver training and technical instruction to operational and technical personnel. + Define, implement, manage, and improve standard work methods and code-change instructions to comply with established operational standards. **Your Profile as a Welding Process Engineer:** * + Engineering degree (Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing or related field). + 3 years of experience in the field and/or automotive environment. + Intermediate English. + Problem analysis and resolution skills. + Shock absorber assembly processes. + MIG/MAG, resistance, and projection welding equipment and processes. + Operation of FANUC and Panasonic robots. + Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, SPC, and MSA). **Why Choose ZF El Salto?** * + Professional growth and development. + Access to a global network. + Strong corporate culture and reputation. + Competitive salary \+ Superior benefits. + Location: Km 3\.5 Carretera El Salto La Capilla 45680 El Salto Jalisco.
