Sales Counter Advisor

### **Position Purpose:** Provide comprehensive customer advice —in person or by phone— regarding the products, prices, promotions, and solutions offered by Kalisch Acero, ensuring prompt, courteous, and accurate service. Guarantee an exceptional purchasing experience through excellent service and efficient management of sales, billing, and collections, directly contributing to achieving the branch's sales objectives. ### **Main Responsibilities** * Assist and advise customers in person or by phone with courtesy, accuracy, and speed. * Perform **quotations, invoicing, and collections**, ensuring accuracy in amounts, data, and records. * Provide up-to-date information on **prices, stock availability, delivery times, and order status**. * Promote **add-on sales and commercial programs**. * Enter orders into the system and verify correct application of discounts and payment methods. * Ensure compliance with **cash handling policies and daily cash register reconciliation**. * Participate in **inventory counts, product arrangement, cleaning, and control of hardware and steel materials**. * Collaborate with the **Credit and Collections department**, ensuring accurate and timely payments. * Maintain constant communication with **Operations and Services Coordination, Sales Advisors, and Sales Manager** to guarantee complete and timely deliveries. * Contribute to achieving **monthly sales targets and customer satisfaction goals**. ### **Requirements** * **Education:** High school diploma (technical or university studies preferred). * **Experience:** Minimum 1 year in sales, customer service, billing, or cash handling. * **Knowledge:** * Basic proficiency in Office software and internet usage. * Billing, collection, and cash control processes. * Knowledge of steel and hardware materials is desirable. * Strong numerical skills and data entry abilities. ### **Skills and Competencies** * Effective communication and a service-oriented attitude. * Organization, follow-up, and results-driven focus. * Teamwork and cross-departmental collaboration. * Adherence to rules and policies. * Strong verbal skills and enthusiasm for sales. * Responsibility, punctuality, and reliability. ### **We Offer** * Competitive base salary \+ variable compensation based on performance. * Enhanced benefits including grocery vouchers, savings fund, and family medical insurance.
