Job Summary: On-site at a customer/supplier location, performs various distribution center activities related to one or more of the following processes: packaging, shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, inventory handling, storage, distribution, and inventory support. Provides high-quality, cost-effective, and efficient service to meet current and future demands. Key Responsibilities:* Fulfills orders from stored inventory, meeting customer requirements and inspection and testing processes. Delivers orders within established timelines and completes all required documentation. Communicates with supervisor/lead regarding any issues or problems related to fulfillment. * Receives, unpacks, and inspects incoming materials and products, verifying them against written orders. Returns defective materials. * Ensures documentation such as packing lists, shipping labels, and other related documents are complete, accurate, and properly processed. * Identifies, investigates, and participates in opportunities to improve processes and procedures, including various key performance metrics. * Maintains and updates systems as necessary. * Performs other duties as assigned. Work Level Specifications:* Acquires and applies practical knowledge of the organization, job, practices, and procedures to be competent in all aspects of the role. * Performs semi-routine tasks and recognizes the need for occasional alternative solutions. * Work is performed independently with minimal supervision. Capable of setting priorities and managing time to complete work. * Collaboration with other departments or teams may be required to perform the role. May frequently respond to requests from others, internal or external. * The impact of decisions may affect the department. Errors may result in loss of time, resources, and/or customer satisfaction. Work Experience:* Typically requires a minimum of two years of related experience. Education and Certification(s):* High school diploma or equivalent Distinguishing Features:* May require standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds * Forklift certification may be required * Specific visual acuity standards may be required if performing final inspections. * Requires ability to stand, stoop, bend, crouch, twist, and work at heights above 15 feet.
