Operations Coordinator

Description and details of activities * Administers and delegates daily production targets to production assistants, assemblers, and machine operators. * Works on production planning in coordination with the Planner. * Reviews KPI monitoring systems and determines ways to improve company operations. * Conducts time and motion studies to update operational standards. * Keeps manuals, visual aids, procedures, standards, and metrics up to date. * Uses cause-and-effect diagrams to solve obstacles. * Develops new processes based on organizational requirements. * Solves technical problems related to processes within their area of responsibility. * Develops and documents operation procedures, routings, work instructions, and process flows. * Performs daily returns for the warehouse area. * Presents production reports showing achieved goals and objectives. * Supervises or evaluates measures designed to improve production methods, team performance, and product quality. * Plans studies to determine labor utilization effectiveness and projects labor and support staff needs. * Advises management on production issues. * Prepares, negotiates, and manages departmental objectives and budgets, as well as strategies and action plans to achieve these objectives. * Validates and authorizes production function procedures and operating standards (SOPs). * Responsible for selecting, training, developing, and acting as a facilitator for their staff. * Responsible for promoting and maintaining interdepartmental harmony. * Comply with safety and hygiene regulations established by the company, Experience and requirements **JOB REQUIREMENTS:** * Required / desirable education: * Industrial Engineering degree or related fields is desirable. **Desired experience:** * Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position. **Desired skills:** * Able to interact easily and with good judgment with individuals from different disciplines and business functions (executives, colleagues, suppliers, customers, etc.) * Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. * Speak and write in English. (Intermediate level desirable) * Medium-level analytical capability. * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Technically proficient in using Microsoft Office suite and capable of understanding and learning proprietary software. * Knowledge in developing MACROS **Other requirements:** * Leadership, organization, negotiation skills. * Experience working with project management systems and process management methods. * Excellent analytical thinking. * Leadership ability. * Teamwork ability. * Mathematical and statistical competence. * Knowledge of management systems such as Six Sigma or LEXN.
