The candidate must be able to implement and debug firmware modules, integrate peripherals, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in the development of IoT products dedicated to the mining field. **Suggested academic background:** * University degree in Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related fields. * Modality: In-person * Location: C. Lasec 201, Parque Quantum ciudad gobierno, Zacatecas. Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:36 pm. **Main Responsibilities** * Develop and implement firmware for microcontrollers in C/C\+\+. * Integrate peripherals and sensors (I2C, SPI, UART, ADC, PWM). * Adapt or modify existing drivers. * Debug code using tools such as J\-Link, RTT, or logic analyzer. * Participate in code reviews and technical documentation. * Collaborate with hardware and software teams for system validation. * Use version control systems (Git). * Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and unit testing. **Technical Requirements** * Strong C language skills and basic knowledge of C\+\+ or Python. * Experience with ARM Cortex\-M microcontrollers (nRF, STM32, ESP32, etc.). * Handling of peripherals: GPIO, UART, I2C, SPI, ADC, Timers, interrupts. * Familiarity with RTOS (FreeRTOS or similar). * Knowledge of communication protocols such as BLE, WiFi, or industrial protocols (CAN, Modbus). * Use of development tools: VS Code, etc. * Ability to read datasheets, schematics, and technical documentation. * Basic use of oscilloscope and logic analyzer. **Desirable Skills** * Understanding and experience with RTOS and multitasking concepts. * Knowledge of communication protocols (BLE and WiFi). * Ability to handle persistent storage and dynamic memory management. * Basic understanding of power and performance optimization. * Test automation or scripting with Python. **Soft Competencies** * Continuous learning ability and technological adaptability. * Teamwork and effective communication. * Logical thinking and attention to detail. * Autonomy and responsibility in task follow-up. * Results-oriented and technical problem-solving skills. **Required Experience** 1 to 3 years of experience in embedded firmware development or equivalent practical experience with real microcontrollers. **Languages** * Technical English comprehension (reading documentation and datasheets).
