We are seeking a **Failure Analysis Engineer** with a deeply technical profile, capable of identifying the root cause of failures in complex electronic boards. **Your Mission on the Team:** You will be the expert responsible for performing root cause diagnosis at the **Component Level** on high-end units (Server Boards). Your objective is to maintain the health of our production lines by reducing the **Bonepile** and providing critical technical feedback to SMT and Assembly processes. **Key Responsibilities:** * **Advanced Debugging:** Perform precise diagnostics on **PCBAs** failing functional tests (**ICT, FCT, BSI**), tracing failures down to specific components (VRM, IC, CPU, resistors). * **Schematic Interpretation:** Expert reading of **Schematics**, Gerber files, and *Boardviews* to trace signal paths, voltages, and frequencies. * **Measurement Instrumentation:** Professional use of **Oscilloscope**, bench multimeter, spectrum analyzer, and power supplies for validation of analog and digital signals. * **Inventory Management (Bonepile):** Control and reduce defective product inventory, manage unit *Aging*, and ensure a steady repair flow. * **Test Environment:** Execute diagnostics in a **Linux** environment (basic commands) for server testing and data logging in the **SFC** system. **Ideal Candidate Profile (Requirements):** **Education:** Degree in **Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics**, or related field (Degree or Letter of Completion). **Experience:** Minimum **2–3 years** in the **EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services)** industry, specifically in Debug or Failure Analysis roles. **Technical Proficiency:** * Solid knowledge of analog and digital electronics. * Advanced schematic reading skills. * Familiarity with **IPC\-A\-610** standards. * Experience with SMT, PTH, and **BGA** soldering technologies. **Language:** **Intermediate\-Advanced English** (capable of participating in technical meetings, reading datasheets, and writing detailed reports). **Key Competencies:** * Deep analytical capability (**Root Cause Analysis**). * Strong sense of urgency and focus on **Yield** targets. * Excellence in collaborative work with Test and Process teams. **What We Offer:** * Competitive salary commensurate with your technical experience. * **Benefits exceeding statutory requirements.** * Growth opportunities within the world’s No. 1 electronic manufacturing company. **Work Conditions:** * **Location:** Foxconn Vesta Park Plant (Carretera al Salto). * **Schedule:** Availability for fixed shifts (Morning, Afternoon, or Night). **Are you the electronics expert we’re looking for?
