Position Summary The Senior Buyer is responsible for leading the procurement process of goods and services necessary for the company's operations, ensuring cost, quality, and delivery time optimization. This position requires advanced negotiation, supplier management, and strategic analysis skills to guarantee the achievement of organizational goals. Main Responsibilities **Develop and execute purchasing strategies aligned with company objectives, optimizing costs and ensuring the quality of acquired products or services.** Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers, maintaining strong relationships and negotiating contracts beneficial to the organization. **Analyze market trends, prices, and material availability to make informed purchasing decisions.** Manage the complete purchasing cycle, from quotation requests to the delivery of goods or services. **Supervise the creation and compliance of contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers.** Coordinate with internal departments (production, warehouse, finance, etc.) to ensure the company's needs are met on time. **Monitor supplier performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) and propose continuous improvements.** Manage supply chain-related risks by anticipating potential disruptions and developing contingency plans. **Maintain updated records of purchases, contracts, and reports in the company's ERP system.** Lead improvement projects in procurement processes by implementing best practices and technological tools.
