We are in a phase of professionalization and growth, seeking analytical minds eager to lead transportation execution for the most important clients in the *Consumer Goods* sector. **Your Impact and Key Responsibilities:** We seek an **Arrivals Coordinator** who will be the absolute owner of transportation tracking upon arrival for cargo, as well as of information accuracy. Beyond auditing data and identifying "dropped" trips, this role requires direct and constant communication with carriers’ control towers and operators—both via phone and on-site at the distribution center. Your mission is to anticipate and confirm unit status ahead of its scheduled loading appointment, and, upon detecting any risk, make the critical rescue decision (e.g., deploying fleet assets or identifying spot trips), based on cargo value and customer urgency. * **Operational Logbook:** You own the **Operations Logbook (loading plan)**, responsible for its daily generation, reconciliation with SAP systems, and ensuring the **Reliability of Information** used by the entire team. * **Service Rescue:** Evaluate "dropped" trips due to failures, rejections, or operator absence, and make the critical rescue decision (immediate fleet assignment vs. spot trip search). * **Communication and Status Control:** Maintain direct contact with yard operators and external control towers to verify adherence to loading appointments, actively pushing to prevent deviations. * **Equipment Rejection Management:** Track units rejected due to conditions (odors, dirtiness) and manage on-site resolution, including documentation of repairs performed by operators. * **Value-Based Decision-Making:** Prioritize shipment rescue based on business criteria such as **cargo value**, customer type, and delivery window to mitigate financial risk. * **Document Coordination:** Expedite entry of *Backhaul* units (Walmart, Soriana, etc.) by translating receipt numbers into shipment numbers to manage the **Carta Porte Complement** and minimize yard dwell time. * **Operational Leadership:** Ensure no information “gaps” exist between shifts, resolving inherited pending items and delivering a clean operation. **Essential Requirements (The Filter)** * **Education:** Technical degree or incomplete/completed Bachelor’s/Engineering degree. * **Experience:** Minimum 1\-2 years in yard control, arrival monitoring, or shipment *tracking*. * **Critical Tools:** **Excel** (logbook creation and reconciliation, use of *flags* and pivot tables).
