Coordinate with the crew leader the organization of personnel, selecting the appropriate crew based on the activity to be carried out.\* Coordinate the application of pesticides in the field with the plant health technician.\* Monitor the production process from planting through to harvest.\* Coordinate the transportation of harvested products.\* Request and supervise that machinery and tools used are suitable for the task at hand.\* Supervise the proper operation of machinery and tools used in field activities.\* Request equipment repairs from the Machinery Center.\* Review and authorize the use of machinery, ensuring the tractor operator has completed the daily tractor inspection and that information is correctly and timely reported.\* Request harvesting equipment supplies (leg guards, knives, and raincoats) and distribute them to crew leaders.\* Supervise the accurate and timely reporting of agricultural input applications. Supervise the correct use of inputs, equipment, and work tools by supervised personnel. Notify the transportation and logistics coordinator of vehicle arrival at the start of the route and report departure times or changes during the work shift.
