**Job Profile:** Machine Maintenance Technician at Lemon and Papaya Packing Plant and Ranches **Job Description:** We are seeking an experienced and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our team at our lemon and papaya packing plant, as well as at our ranches. The candidate will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on machines and equipment used in packaging and production processes at the packing plant and field operations at the ranches. **Responsibilities:** \- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery and equipment at the packing plant (packaging lines, sorters, graders, etc.) and field equipment at the ranches (tractors, irrigation pumps, etc.) \- Diagnose and repair equipment and machinery failures to minimize downtime \- Ensure optimal equipment operation to maintain efficiency and productivity \- Conduct periodic inspections of equipment and machinery to identify potential issues \- Collaborate with the production team to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize operational impact \- Maintain records of maintenance and repairs performed \- Comply with safety regulations and established procedures **Requirements:** \- Experience in maintenance of industrial and/or agricultural machinery \- Knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial electricity \- Experience in maintenance of packaging and/or agricultural equipment \- Ability to work in varied environments (packing plant and field) \- Skills in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical problems \- Availability to work shifts and in the field when necessary **Skills and Competencies:** \- Technical knowledge in mechanics and electricity \- Effective problem-solving skills \- Teamwork and collaboration \- Commitment to safety and work procedures \- Proactivity and ability to anticipate maintenance needs **Benefits:** \- Opportunity to work in a leading company in the agro-industrial sector \- Dynamic work environment \- Competitive compensation \- Opportunities for development and training **Additional Requirements:** \- Willingness to relocate \- Knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment would be an advantage \- Experience with control systems Type of position: Full-time Salary: $8,541.21 \- $13,169.88 per month Work Location: On-site job
