




**Location:**Reynosa Tamaulipas, MX, 88710 **Business Unit:** Nul **Posting Date:** Jan 15, 2026 **Job Description:**The Finance Assistant will assure the feasibility of the company, and identify the costs and benefits of the company, as well as identify the areas of opportunity to reduce costs and improve company profitability for investment. What you will do: * Provide support for month\-end close processes including maintaining general ledger accounts, account reconciliations, and preparation of journal entries. * Prepare financial statements in compliance with US and MX GAAP * Perform financial statement analysis and investigate issues providing explanations and interpretation. * Work with Mexico\-US external consultants and auditors * SOX testing and upkeep of required documentation in the Corporate SOX database * Provide detailed balance sheet support and reconciliation, looking into discrepancies and conclusions to fix systematic issues * Ensure accurate financial results and requirements are completed within corporate timelines * Provide financial analysis to upper management to describe changes in business assumptions that affect periodic, quarterly, and annual performance What we are looking for: * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration * 5\+ years of general accounting experience (preferably in a publicly traded organization with exposure to SOX compliance and revenue recognition) * Experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) is a plus * Proven ability to prioritize responsibilities * Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a matrix structure and effectively build relationships with all levels of the organization * Excellent communication skills, strong customer relationships, management skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment. * Highly detail\-oriented and excellent analytical skills * Demonstrate and exhibit a high level of professionalism * Strong knowledge of major accounting software packages * Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, with advanced Excel skills required * Must be able to work independently and on multiple projects simultaneously * Work requires effective oral and written communications skills as well as a strong analytical acumen * Bilingual English\-Spanish AMETEK, Inc. is a leading global provider of industrial technology solutions serving a diverse set of attractive niche markets with annual sales over $7\.0 billion.
