




Position Summary: We are seeking a construction coordinator with Oil & Gas experience to supervise projects, interpret designs, adapt designs to site conditions, and ensure compliance with specifications and regulations. We are bridging two worlds—advancing toward more sustainable energy sources while simultaneously helping provide the energy, chemicals, and resources needed today. **Objective:** Provide on-site construction expertise during project construction phases to interpret designs, adapt designs to meet site conditions, supervise construction oversight, and grant final approval of completed construction tasks to ensure construction conforms to design specifications. Develop and maintain project-specific construction practices. Control and coordinate construction activities to ensure assigned projects are delivered to client satisfaction and in accordance with safety, quality, schedule, and budget parameters. **Responsibilities:** • The coordinator’s primary function is to support and guide contractors and project personnel to achieve efficient development per engineering documents, specifications, and regulations; and to ensure safe, on-time, and on-budget project completion. • Work closely with the project management team to ensure project construction work complies with design, specifications, and regulations. Specific Responsibilities: • The compression/measurement station inspector reports directly to the Construction Manager and works closely with all disciplines of the project team. • Manage and coordinate construction discrepancies with contractors to achieve the schedule and deliverables for all construction tasks executed within the agreed scope of work and specifications. • Review engineering documents (drawings, procedures, reports, etc.) issued by pipe mill contractors, turbo-compressor manufacturers, and EPC contractors. Verify consistency and compliance with applicable standards, client specifications, and project-specific requirements. Coordinate, audit, and approve (as required) welding procedures and/or welder/operator qualifications. Inspect, audit, and control field welding activities. Verify pipeline and component (valves, flanges, etc.) integrity during construction. • Extensive experience in welding engineering. Experience in metallurgical processes. Must have field experience in welding activities including field welding, welder qualification, field inspection, etc. Must be proficient in mechanized/automatic orbital pipe welding. Advanced knowledge of practices (ASME Sec. IX, ASME VIII Div. 1, API 1104, API 5L, ASME B31.8, AWS D1.1, CSA Z662). Knowledge of Mexican standards (NOM 007, 003, etc.). Integrity standards. • Knowledge of LOTO procedures • Basic knowledge of electrical and instrumentation work • Assist in identifying and quantifying scope-of-work variations. • Inspect and receive materials supplied by the client and report on their usage. • Work closely with the project team and contractors to ensure work completion per required design, specifications, and regulations. • Assist in managing interfaces between contractors to minimize project schedule delays. • Ensure contractor compliance with HSE policies and procedures. • Strong problem-solving skills to support project progress, analyze and evaluate engineering discrepancies, and implement appropriate solutions. AWS CWI certified inspector, International Welding Inspector (IWI), welding engineer. ASNT. Extensive experience in welding engineering. Experience in metallurgical processes. Must have field experience in welding activities such as field welding, welder qualification, field inspection, etc. Must be proficient in mechanized/automatic orbital pipe welding. Advanced knowledge of practices (ASME Sec. IX, ASME VIII Div. 1, API 1104, API 5L, ASME B31.8, AWS D1.1, CSA Z662). Knowledge of Mexican standards (NOM 007, 003, etc.). Integrity standards. Experience in pipelines, directional drilling, right-of-way, and compression stations. Tabasco, Campeche, and Yucatán.
