**We are looking for** a **Diesel Mechanic Assistant** with a **genuine interest in learning and developing** skills in the maintenance of **heavy and light machinery**, responsible, organized, and willing to work in workshops and on construction sites. **Main responsibilities** * Assist in **preventive and corrective maintenance** of heavy and light machinery. * Support basic mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical inspections. * Assist in oil changes, filter replacements, hose replacements, and general adjustments. * Maintain **order, cleanliness, and care** of tools and the work area. * Transport, arrange, and prepare tools and spare parts. * Assist in **identifying visible faults** and report them to the responsible mechanic. * Comply with **safety standards and proper machinery usage**. * Learn and apply best practices for **equipment care and maintenance**. **Requirements** * Minimum experience: **Not mandatory** (internships or assistant roles are valued). * Basic knowledge of diesel or automotive mechanics (desirable). * **Willingness to work, learn, and grow in this field.** * **Availability for physical labor.** * **Responsibility and punctuality.** Job type: Full-time, Project-based or fixed-term Contract duration: 1 month Salary: Starting at $3,200.00 per week Benefits: * Option for an indefinite-term contract Work location: On-site employment
