




Position Summary: Oversee the store’s general operations, lead the team, and ensure excellent customer service while maintaining operational processes and an optimal work environment. Ensure customer satisfaction and inventory control Supervise general operations across all store areas, serving as a role model for your team. Provide necessary direction and feedback to employees under your supervision to coordinate proper execution of store operational processes, create an optimal work environment, and deliver excellent service to our customers. * Authorize damaged and non-damaged returns resulting from defective merchandise, incorrect employee recommendations, or catalog errors—always placing the customer first and ensuring their full satisfaction. * Ensure all parts and products are in their assigned locations within the store and that physical inventory matches system records by executing flawless weekly inventory management tasks. * Supervise store operational activities, serving as a role model, and ensure employees provide customer consultation and utilize all tools provided by AutoZone—including the electronic catalog and testing/diagnostic equipment—to deliver reliable advice and genuine solutions to our customers’ needs, thereby also helping prevent merchandise returns through this practice. * Identify subordinates’ strengths and areas for improvement to assign appropriate tasks, recognize strong performance, and provide feedback when identifying areas requiring improvement and training. * Supervise that all employees comply daily with their scheduled work hours and AutoZone’s established dress code, interact with each other and our customers with the highest levels of respect, friendliness, and professionalism, and apply AutoZone’s guidelines and values. * Review and analyze the Profit & Loss (P\&L) report each period to identify opportunities for expense control and contribute to improving them by promoting a culture of savings across all controllable expenditures within the team. * Assign and follow up on tasks for area supervisors—including planogram setup, merchandise placement, warehouse cleaning, restrooms, cafeteria, sales floor, parking lot—as well as review the daily cash count for the main register, perform cash sweeps, and conduct cash register closings for staff under your supervision, following AutoZone-provided procedures. * Supervise and ensure employees use AutoZone-provided safety equipment—including belts, gloves, aprons, and goggles—when handling merchandise, performing vehicle tests, or working at in-store test stations, thus helping prevent workplace accidents and ensuring a safe environment for our employees. * High school diploma * One to two years of experience as a supervisor in retail, warehouse, or store environments * Flexible availability for scheduling AutoZone Mexico is the leading distributor of automotive parts and accessories in the Americas.
