Position Summary: Oversee the store's overall operations, lead the team, and ensure an optimal environment and excellent service, guaranteeing customer satisfaction. Key Highlights: 1. Employee development and training opportunities Supervise general operations across all store areas, serving as a role model for your team. Provide necessary direction and feedback to your direct reports to coordinate proper execution of store operational processes, creating an optimal work environment and delivering excellent service to our customers. * Authorize damaged and non-damaged returns resulting from defective merchandise, incorrect employee recommendations, or catalog errors—always placing the customer first and ensuring full satisfaction. * Ensure all parts and products are located in their assigned positions within the store and that physical inventory matches system records, executing flawless weekly inventory management tasks. * Supervise store operational activities by setting an example and ensuring employees advise customers and fully utilize tools provided by AutoZone—including the electronic catalog and diagnostic and testing equipment—to deliver reliable advice and genuine solutions to our customers’ needs, while also helping prevent merchandise returns through this practice. * Identify subordinates’ strengths and areas for improvement to assign appropriate tasks, recognize strong performance, and provide feedback when identifying areas requiring improvement and training. * Supervise daily adherence by all employees to scheduled working hours and AutoZone’s dress code; ensure respectful, friendly, and professional interactions among employees and with our customers, consistently applying AutoZone’s guidelines and values. * Review and analyze the Profit & Loss (P\&L) report periodically to identify opportunities for expense control and contribute to improvements by promoting a culture of cost savings across all controllable consumptions within the team. * Assign and monitor tasks for area supervisors—including planogram setup, merchandise placement, warehouse cleaning, restrooms, cafeteria, sales floor, and parking lot—as well as review daily cash counts from the main register, conduct cash sweeps, and process register closings for team members under your supervision, following AutoZone-provided procedures. * Supervise and ensure employees wear AutoZone-provided safety equipment—including belts, gloves, aprons, and goggles—when handling merchandise, performing vehicle tests, or using in-store diagnostic stations, thereby helping prevent workplace accidents and ensuring a safe environment for our employees. * High school diploma * One to two years of experience as a supervisor in retail, warehouse, or store environments * Flexible availability to work various shifts AutoZone México is the leading distributor of automotive parts and accessories in the Americas.
