SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Position Summary: Provide in-store operational support by performing sales, merchandise stocking, and customer service to meet operational and commercial performance metrics. Key Highlights: 1. Provide floor-level operational support in stores by executing assigned operational processes—including sales, merchandise stocking, and customer service—as established by AutoZone, collaborating effectively to achieve store-level operational and commercial performance metrics. * Stock merchandise on the sales floor, in overstock areas, and in delivery trucks, following applicable stocking guidelines. * Execute correct planograms; * Scan merchandise to complete inventory counts; * Perform proper “fronting” and labeling to categorize merchandise, and participate in opening/closing tasks as well as sales-floor cleaning activities to ensure accurate merchandise placement and overall store presentation. * Provide customer service by addressing inquiries regarding product location, specific product type information, function, and pricing—delivering excellent service reflected in front-counter sales closures—and handle customer phone calls to resolve questions about specific products or orders. * Accurately perform cash register transactions involving cash or credit/debit cards, and process returns in compliance with AutoZone’s point-of-sale payment policies to ensure effective transaction execution and sales closure. * High school diploma or equivalent * Prior experience as a warehouse associate, cashier, or general assistant. * Customer service experience preferred.
