Position Summary:
Leads inspection, validation, and control of materials, manages the team of inspectors, and ensures quality in receiving operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership in managing the quality of received materials.
2. Training and development of quality inspectors.
3. Control and administration of material inventory.
Description and details of activities
* *Leads adherence to and execution of the inspection plan for received materials.*
* *Leads adherence to and fulfillment of material validation requirements.*
* *Performs material movement transactions in the system.*
* *Controls and administers physical and virtual inventory for non-conforming materials.*
* *Generates material nonconformance reports.*
* *Makes non-conforming materials available in rejection areas.*
* *Assigns inspectors based on workload.*
* *Clarifies inspection team questions regarding criteria for material usage authorization.*
* *Authorizes return of goods.*
* *Maintains order and cleanliness in receiving inspection areas.*
* *Trains quality inspectors.*
* *Performs external inspections and additional activities as required by immediate supervisor.
Experience and Requirements
* *1 year or more of experience in a similar position.*
* *Completed undergraduate degree: Industrial, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.*
* *English proficiency: 80%*
* *Teamwork skills.*
* *Ability to lead personnel.*
* *Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).*
