Involves handling packages in operations, including manual handling, sorting activities, detection tasks, and performing any related administrative work or paperwork. Position Overview: Under general supervision, performs the following activities: * Efficiently and safely delivers and collects packages. * Inspects packages to ensure proper labeling, content legality, including weight and size, appropriate packaging, insured values, and special requirements for hazardous materials shipments. * Accurately and carefully completes documentation related to package collection and delivery, such as air waybills, delivery records, vehicle condition reports, etc. * Seeks additional business from existing customers; if unsuccessful, refers them to the sales manager. * Reports to station operations, management, and sales regarding changes in customer handling and/or competitors. * Safely loads and unloads company aircraft and vehicles. * Performs package and box size and weight sorting and audits. * Ensures the use of safety equipment and full compliance with FedEx's policies, procedures, regulations, rules, and safety practices. * Operates company vehicles safely and performs basic maintenance (cleaning, washing, tire pressure checks, etc.). Minimum Requirements: Minimum education level: * Completed secondary school. * Basic English preferred. Minimum Experience: * Prior experience in ramp operations and warehouse equipment operation preferred. Minimum Required Skills: * Ability to lift 32 kg and maneuver packages weighing up to 68 kg using appropriate equipment. * Availability to work variable shifts. * Vehicle maintenance skills and experience with hand and power tools preferred. * Accuracy and attention to detail. * Planning and organizational skills. * Problem-solving skills. * Teamwork skills.
