OBRERA **Schedule:** TO BE DETERMINED IN INTERVIEW (5 DAYS PER WEEK) **Contract Type:** more information in interview **General Responsibilities** * Produce hamburger buns according to recipes, weight specifications, and defined standards. * Guarantee the quality, freshness, texture, and flavor of the final product. * Comply with hygiene, food safety, and workplace organization standards. * Ensure timely supply of buns for restaurant operations. * Report incidents, losses, and production deviations. * Properly maintain and use bakery machinery, utensils, and equipment. **Operational Activities** * Prepare doughs according to standardized recipes. * Ferment, bake, and cool buns according to established times and temperatures. * Perform correct portioning and rounding of buns. * Package, label, and store finished products. * Adjust processes based on climate, humidity, or production volume. * Keep the bakery area clean and organized during and at the end of each shift. **Production Control** * Meet daily and weekly production plans. * Verify quantities produced vs. quantities required. * Monitor production timelines to prevent operational delays. * Record losses, rework, or non-conforming products. **Reports and Records** * Prepare daily production reports. * Record raw material consumption (flour, yeast, sugar, fat, etc.). * Report losses, expiration dates, and surplus stock. * Maintain cleaning and sanitation logs. * Report equipment malfunctions or required maintenance. **Purchasing Requests and Inventory** * Review bakery ingredient inventories. * Request raw materials orders according to projected consumption. * Verify quality and quantities of received ingredients. * Rotate inventory using the FIFO system. * Ensure proper storage of raw materials. **Quality Control** * Check bun appearance, size, weight, color, and texture. * Ensure product uniformity. * Review production and expiration dates. * Remove and report products failing to meet standards. * Implement continuous improvements to the production process. **Hygiene and Safety** * Comply with personal hygiene standards (uniform, hairnet, clean hands). * Perform deep cleaning of worktables, ovens, trays, and utensils. * Comply with safety and food hygiene regulations (NOM-251). * Handle cleaning chemicals properly. * Prevent cross-contamination. **Basic Maintenance** * Perform basic cleaning and care of ovens, mixers, and tools. * Report damaged or malfunctioning equipment. * Support scheduled preventive maintenance. **Teamwork and Communication** * Coordinate with management and kitchen staff to adjust production volumes. * Inform about changes in timing or product availability. * Support training on new processes or recipes. **Continuous Improvement** * Propose process, timing, and loss-reduction improvements. * Support testing of new recipes or product changes. * Comply with internal or external audits. **Desired Requirements:** * AGE 20 YEARS OR OLDER * Prior experience * Positive attitude, teamwork, and punctuality * Flexible schedule (to set schedule, morning availability starting at 3 AM is essential) * Sense of responsibility and commitment **We Offer:** ✔ Competitive salary ✔ Employee discount ✔ Friendly work environment ✔ Opportunities for growth within the restaurant If you are interested, contact us at (646) 195-57-39 or send your CV to admbrosburgers@gmail.com Join Bro’s Burgers — where we do it with flavor and enthusiasm!
