




Job Description and Activity Details **POSITION:** Dynamics 365 FO Tier 1 Support Technician **REPORTING TO:** Sr. Director of Business Systems **DEPARTMENT:** Business Systems **POSITION SUMMARY** The Dynamics 365 FO Tier 1 Support Technician provides first\-line support for Dynamics 365 Finance \& Operations (D365 FO) and related business applications. This role is responsible for receiving, logging, and resolving internal user issues, escalating when necessary, and ensuring excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is a problem\-solver with basic technical knowledge of ERP systems, computer hardware, software applications, and relational databases. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast\-paced, team\-oriented environment. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** * Serve as the first point of contact for D365 FO and related application support requests. * Analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot reported issues via phone, email, or in\-person. * Escalate complex issues to Tier 2 or the technical team when required. * Document all support activities, ensuring accuracy and clarity in both technical and non\-technical terms. * Provide guidance to end\-users on system navigation and basic functionality. * Assist with data entry, report running, and simple queries as needed. * Participate in training to expand D365 FO and application knowledge. * Collaborate with IT and Business Systems teams to ensure timely resolution of user issues. Experience and Requirements **REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, \& ABILITIES** * Basic understanding of ERP systems, preferably Dynamics 365 FO or Microsoft Dynamics AX. * Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams). * Basic knowledge of relational databases and SQL concepts. * Strong troubleshooting and problem\-solving abilities. * Excellent time management, communication, strong English, and organizational skills. * Self\-motivated with a positive, team\-oriented attitude. **DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, \& ABILITIES** * Experience with D365 FO or other ERP systems. * Exposure to reporting tools such as Power BI, SSRS, or similar. * Understanding of REST APIs and system integrations (basic level).
