Apply now for our opening as: Operator PRIMARY OBJECTIVE: The primary and critical function of the *Operator* is to operate the Energía Costa Azul LNG Terminal facilities in accordance with technical and safety procedures and standards, as defined by the Company's business plan. RESPONSIBILITIES/OBLIGATIONS: * Perform routine operations on LNG Terminal equipment, including inspection, startup, shutdown, and taking equipment out of service for maintenance during their shift; * Monitor and control equipment operational variables, open and/or close valves according to established operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain assigned operations within performance standards; * Understand and execute tasks associated with the various operating modes of the Terminal's facilities; * Carry out assigned operations and record data from meters, indicators, and gauges. Report malfunctions and unusual trends or conditions in the operational logbook and to their supervisor; * Adjust operational variables (temperature, pressure, vacuum, level, flow, and/or gas transfer) to maintain processes at required levels or correct issues; * Actively participate in developing and complying with Hygiene, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures, focused on achieving zero safety and security incidents and protecting the environment; * Identify potential environmental risk scenarios arising from their activities, assess the likelihood of each scenario, prevent environmental damage, provide suggestions accordingly, and engage in the continuous improvement process of the IMS; * Perform all work in accordance with applicable safety procedures, using appropriate safety devices and protective equipment; REQUIREMENTS **Education** * Technical degree in mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, chemical, or electromechanical fields, with a minimum of two years of industrial operations experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. **Experience** **Required:** * Minimum of two years of experience in industrial operations. **Preferred:** * Experience in LNG terminal operations or handling cryogenic equipment. **Apply now** and become part of the great **Sempra Infrastructure** team!
