**Position**: Traffic and Logistics Manager **Who We Are** A Mexican family-owned business with over 35 years of experience in refrigerated freight transportation and cross-border shipping of perishable goods to the U.S. Additionally, we sell and rent truck parts and refrigerated trailers, and maintain a solid inventory of vehicles and spare parts. We are undergoing a professionalization process and are seeking a candidate who, in addition to managing traffic and logistics, can contribute strategic initiatives to consolidate, organize, and grow the business. **Position:** Traffic and Logistics Manager **Location:** Ensenada, B.C. **Work Mode:** On-site – Full-time **Main Responsibilities** * **Continuously pursue contracts with new clients:** Expand our client portfolio and provide competitive shipping quotes. * **Mediation and negotiation:** Serve as the central liaison between the company and clients, negotiating shipping rates to secure the best possible prices. * **Client relations:** Maintain constant communication with clients to report delivery status and manage any adjustments or issues arising during transit. * **Operational management:** Supervise daily transportation operations from trip planning through completion, ensuring on-time deliveries. * **Resource optimization:** Maximize vehicle fleet availability and efficiency by managing unit scheduling, fuel consumption, and operational costs. * **Team coordination:** Lead and train the traffic, monitoring, and operator teams, assigning tasks and overseeing adherence to procedures. * **Maintenance and safety:** Coordinate with the maintenance department to ensure vehicles are in good condition and manage fleet insurance.
