Description and details of responsibilities: We are seeking a **Procurement Manager** to ensure the timely supply of materials, services, consumables, and equipment through comprehensive procurement process management, team leadership, and operational control, thereby ensuring shipyard operational continuity and adherence to production programs. Specific job responsibilities: * Plans, coordinates, and supervises the procurement process to ensure timely supply to operational departments. * Prioritizes purchase requisitions based on operational urgency and production schedules to prevent operational delays. * Supervises and validates quotations to ensure compliance with technical specifications, delivery timelines, and established commercial terms. * Prepares, validates, and authorizes routine and basic services, escalating non-routine or strategic purchases to the Operational Support Coordination team. * Tracks purchase orders, verifying delivery, invoicing, and administrative closure to ensure proper completion. * Coordinates with Treasury and Accounts Payable for payment scheduling, advances, and settlements according to agreed terms. * Supervises import processes in coordination with customs agencies and logistics providers. * Maintains and evaluates the supplier register to ensure reliability, compliance, and supply continuity. * Leads and supervises the procurement team to ensure adherence to procedures, response times, and operational priorities. * Proposes improvements to the procurement process to optimize timelines, control, and traceability. * Submits procurement status reports and analyses—including requisitions and purchase orders—to the Operational Support Coordination team.
