It is essential to have **basic knowledge of Mezcal** to inform and guide customers in selecting this traditional drink. The job location is Plaza Santo Tomas, central area. Salary $6,400 biweekly \+ Tips. Key Responsibilities * **Drink Preparation:** Prepare cocktails, shots, and other beverages accurately, quickly, and with high quality, following standard recipes. * **Bilingual Service:** Take orders, explain the beverage menu, and **engage in conversations with English-speaking (C1\)** and Spanish-speaking customers clearly, professionally, and courteously. * **Specialized Knowledge:** Be able to describe the **fundamentals of Mezcal** (origin, types of agave, production process) and offer basic recommendations to customers. * **Bar Management:** Keep the bar clean, organized, and well-stocked. Perform basic inventory checks at the beginning and end of shifts. * **Customer Service:** Ensure all customers have a positive experience, handling cash transactions and resolving minor service issues. Requirements * **English Proficiency (Level C1 or Advanced):** Proven ability to communicate fluently and effectively in English within a service environment. * **Mezcal Knowledge:** **Basic understanding of Mezcal types, their agave sources, and proper tasting/serving techniques.** * **Experience:** Minimum 1 year as a Bartender. * **Mixology Knowledge:** Broad knowledge of spirits, particularly MEZCAL, and classic cocktail techniques. * **Skills:** Proactive attitude, friendliness, and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
