As a **Sr. Software Engineer, Front\-End**, you will be a key technical leader on a cross\-functional, service\-oriented development team. You will own the design, development, and maintenance of high\-quality web and native mobile applications, ensuring rich customer experiences. You will be responsible for driving technical vision, mentoring team members, and implementing scalable solutions using modern technologies like React, React Native, and AWS. **Location: Mexico (Remote)** **Requirements:** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience * 7\+ years of relevant work experience * Experience working in a lean/agile environment * Experience troubleshooting complex systems * Experience successfully leading software development projects * Experience with responsive design and mobile\-first development * Strong understanding of **Object\-Oriented Programming and design patterns** * Expert proficiency with **JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, HTML, JSON, and XML** * Experience with **React Native and the Expo ecosystem (EAS, CLI, and SDKs).** * Experience implementing design systems using **MUI** and documenting components in **Storybook.** * Previous experience with **React, Ember (or equivalent), Svelte, node.js and Express and CSS frameworks such as Tailwind, Foundation and/or Bootstrap** * Advanced knowledge of **cross\-browser support and OS compatibility intricacies** (including iOS and Android) * Working knowledge of **package managers such as npm or yarn** * Experience interfacing with **GraphQL and REST API's** **Job duties:** * Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical vision to the team and stakeholders * Build and/or review code, tools, libraries, architectural diagrams, and specs for web and mobile platforms * Lead the development and maintenance of a unified design system, translating Figma prototypes into high\-quality, reusable component libraries and using MUI and Storybook to ensure UI consistency across platforms * Implement features per specs and design documents * Contribute to development processes to help form a highly functioning team * Optimize development lifecycle using scripts, reusable components, design pattern libraries, and standardization documents. * Architect and maintain cross\-platform mobile applications using React Native and Expo * Manage mobile app deployment pipelines and store submissions (Apple App Store and Google Play). **Nice to have:** * Desire for further professional growth using **Client Side MVC frameworks** * A track record of shipping and maintaining **functional mobile applications.** * Experience with **high traffic sites, advertising networks \& web tracking systems** * Strong communication skills and the ability to convey their ideas to peers and stakeholders **What you can expect from us** Here at Nexaminds, we're not your typical workplace.
