In this position, you will handle the transfer of structured and unstructured data from legacy or third\-party systems to robust AWS environments, maintaining strict standards for data quality, performance, and compliance at every stage. **Responsibilities** * Create and execute data migration plans specifically designed for AWS platforms * Move data from on\-premise, third\-party, or older cloud environments into AWS solutions * Apply AWS tools such as AWS DMS, AWS DataSync, S3 Transfer Acceleration, and Snow family devices to streamline migration tasks * Carry out database migrations to RDS and Aurora with minimal service interruption * Check data accuracy, consistency, and system performance following migration * Develop and apply strategies for data replication, backup, and rollback to protect information * Enhance migration workflows for better cost management, speed, and reliability * Partner with AWS specialists, solution architects, and application teams during assessment and migration activities * Produce thorough documentation, including migration strategies, runbooks, and operational guides * Offer support after migration and share knowledge with internal teams **Requirements** * At least 2 years of experience in data migration or data engineering positions * Practical experience with AWS services for managing and migrating data * Skilled in using AWS Database Migration Service (DMS) to transfer data between different systems * Experience with AWS DataSync to automate and speed up data movement * Understanding of S3 Transfer Acceleration for handling large data uploads to Amazon S3 * Familiarity with Snow family devices for secure, physical data transfers to AWS * Background in migrating databases to Amazon RDS and Aurora with minimal downtime * Strong English communication skills for clear documentation and effective teamwork
