Position Summary: OFIX is seeking a Director of Computing and Electronics Procurement to define and execute the procurement strategy, manage supplier relationships, and optimize the product portfolio. We are OFIX, the CLIP company — a Mexican enterprise with over 30 years in the retail channel market, offering stationery, technology, office furniture, hygiene products, and more; due to growth, we seek your talent as: DIRECTOR OF COMPUTING AND ELECTRONICS PROCUREMENT WHAT WE SEEK IN YOU: -Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Engineering, Business, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred). -Minimum 7–10 years of procurement experience, including at least 3–5 years in directorial or senior management roles within the technology, computing, or electronics sector. -Strong knowledge of the hardware, software, peripherals, and consumer electronics markets. -Experience negotiating with manufacturers, distributors, and global brands. -High analytical capability, strategic vision, and results orientation. -Proven leadership in managing high-performing teams. -Proficiency in financial metrics (margin, inventory turnover, GMROI, inventory levels, obsolescence). YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: -Define and execute the national end-to-end procurement strategy for computing and electronics categories. -Manage strategic relationships with key manufacturers, brands, and distributors, negotiating commercial agreements, rebates, exclusivities, and preferential terms. -Design and optimize the product portfolio, ensuring competitiveness, innovation, and alignment with market trends. -Lead demand planning, inventory management, and supply execution, maximizing turnover and minimizing technological obsolescence. -Ensure achievement of financial objectives: margin, profitability, sales growth, and working capital efficiency. -Collaborate closely with commercial, marketing, finance, and operations teams to drive growth and positioning strategies. -Develop and implement data analytics models to support strategic decision-making (pricing, assortment, promotions). -Continuously assess market and competitive dynamics to identify business opportunities and risks. -Lead, develop, and strengthen the procurement team by establishing goals, KPIs, and a high-performance culture. -Ensure compliance with departmental policies, processes, and internal controls.
