DESCRIPTION **Construction Quality Supervisor** -------------------------------------------- At EOSOL, we are seeking a Construction Quality Supervisor with experience ensuring **quality, traceability, and technical compliance** of industrial construction works, in coordination with the **main contractor**, guaranteeing compliance with the **Project Quality Plan**, documentation of materials and prefabricated components, and timely management of **Non-Conformities (NCRs)**, according to **international construction standards** and company requirements. ### **Main Responsibilities** #### **A. Quality Control and Supervision in Construction** * Supervise the proper implementation of the **Project Quality Plan**, ensuring all work complies with technical specifications and international standards (ASME, API, AWS, ASTM, ISO, among others). * Validate on-site **construction work quality** (civil, mechanical, electrical, piping, structures, and prefabricated elements). * Ensure that **construction, inspection, and testing processes** are carried out in accordance with approved **ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans)**. * Verify the **identification, traceability, and storage of materials, prefabricated components, and equipment** used on site. #### **B. Traceability and Technical Documentation Management** * Supervise **material documentation, certificates, technical data sheets, and test protocols**, ensuring traceability from manufacturer to final installation. * Guarantee that the **project quality documentation database (Data Book / Construction Dossier)** remains up to date. * Review and approve **inspection records, checklists, and quality progress reports** issued by the contractor. * Coordinate with engineering and materials teams to ensure **consistency of technical information** in drawings, lists, and reports. #### **C. Non-Conformity Management and Continuous Improvement** * Manage the **issuance, tracking, and closure of Non-Conformities (NCRs)** together with the contractor and the project QA/QC team. * Analyze root causes and promote **corrective and preventive actions** to improve construction process quality. * Prepare **quality performance indicators (KPIs) reports** and present results to the quality manager or project committee. * Support internal, external, or client audits related to construction quality. #### **D. Coordination with Contractors and Manufacturers** * Work closely with the **main contractor**, ensuring effective implementation of the **Joint Quality Plan**. * Participate in **technical and quality coordination meetings**, validating progress and on-site verifications. * Interact with **manufacturers, suppliers, and external inspectors**, verifying compliance with applicable specifications and standards. #### **E. Safety, Standards, and Compliance** * Ensure inspection and control activities are performed **under safe conditions** and in accordance with HSE policies. * Apply on-site **international construction and welding standards** (ASME, API, AWS, ASTM, ISO). * Support training and capacity building of teams in **good quality and traceability practices**. ### **Key Competencies** * In-depth technical knowledge of **international construction standards**. * Ability to **analyze technical and quality documentation**. * Rigor, attention to detail, and focus on traceability. * Ability to **manage NCRs and corrective action plans**. * Technical leadership and effective communication with contractors. * Strong commitment to **quality, safety, and regulatory compliance**. ### **Job Requirements** * **Education:** Civil Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Industrial Engineer, Metallurgical Engineer, Civil Constructor, or related field. * **Experience:** Minimum **5 years in industrial construction QA/QC**, preferably in **chemical, petrochemical, or process industry projects**. * **Technical knowledge:** * Application of **international standards (ASME, AWS, API, ASTM, ISO 9001)**. * Management of **quality documentation and material traceability**. * Issuance and tracking of **Non-Conformities (NCRs)**. * Practical application of **Quality Plans and ITPs**. * Knowledge of **SAP** or technical document management systems (DMS, SmartPlant, etc.). * **Desirable certifications:** * QA/QC Inspector or Coordinator (ASNT / AWS / ISO 9712). * Training in Quality Management (ISO 9001 / Internal Auditor). * Course in Welding Standards, Non-Destructive Testing, and Material Control.
