**Compensation**
a) Fixed fee: $8,000.00 per month
b) Variable performance-based compensation: Up to $10,000 per month
c) General condition: The variable compensation is activated only if monthly sales reach or exceed the established minimum.

**PURPOSE OF THE POSITION**
The incumbent commits to managing, operating, and commercially developing GULA, ensuring that:
* The business operates properly every day, without relying on the owner to function.
* Monthly sales targets are met and exceeded month after month.
* The customer experience remains consistent, memorable, and aligned with GULA’s brand identity.
* Operational issues are resolved autonomously and swiftly.
* Only truly strategic or extraordinary decisions are escalated to the owner.
**Competencies:**
* Experience in cafeteria / foodservice operations: Minimum 2 years in an operational role (not merely as a frontline employee).
* Basic knowledge of food preparation: Desirable (ensures sound judgment regarding quality and processes).
* Sales and customer service: Demonstrable. Ability to sell—not just process orders.
* Personnel management: Has led small teams (2–6 people).
* Inventory and waste control: Understands the difference between cost and waste.
* Reporting and KPI tracking: Capable of reading and reporting simple data with sound judgment.
**Leadership and Attitude Competencies**
* Initiative: Acts before being asked. Identifies and resolves problems proactively.
* Results orientation: Their first KPI each morning is yesterday’s sales.
* Leadership without authority: Motivates, corrects, and aligns their team without needing the owner as backup.
* Operational resilience: Does not collapse under unexpected events—contains and resolves them.
* Clear communication: Reports without being prompted. Shares problems promptly—not after the fact.
* Owner mindset: Cares for the business as if it were their own, because part of their income depends on it.
**What distinguishes the ideal candidate**
Has worked in food or beverage businesses and understands that profitability hinges on operations. Does not seek a 'stable job with a fixed salary'. Seeks an environment where they can demonstrate their value and earn more when results justify it.
**Requirements**
* Minimum education: Upper secondary education — General High School Diploma
* 2 years of experience
* Age: Between 24 and 60 years old
* Knowledge areas: Food handling, Cooking, Sales strategies, Pastry making, Cafeteria techniques, Barista skills
