Job Summary: We are seeking a responsible Flexographic Operator for cardboard packaging production, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with technical specifications. Key Responsibilities: 1. Ensure packaging production with quality and efficiency. 2. Perform maintenance and adjustment of flexographic machinery. 3. Monitor ink and detect printing defects. At KIT, we seek to integrate a Flexographic Operator into our team, responsible for ensuring correct cardboard packaging production. This position is critical to ensuring packaging production while meeting customer technical specifications and established production timelines, guaranteeing process safety and efficiency. Responsibilities - Assist in preparation and setup of the flexographic press. - Install, adjust, and maintain doctor blades. - Control ink flow and viscosity to ensure print quality. - Clean anilox rolls, doctor blade chambers, and associated components. - Verify registration, pressure, and alignment during printing. - Detect printing defects (streaks, ink excess/deficiency, splatters). - Comply with industrial safety and hygiene standards. Requirements - Minimum 2 years of experience as a flexographic operator. - Knowledge of handling and types of doctor blades (steel, polymer, beveled, etc.), closed chamber systems, ink control, and basic anilox cleaning and maintenance.
