**Responsibilities and Requirements for the Operations Manager:**
* Extensive knowledge of international cargo transportation logistics.
* Minimum of 2 verifiable years of experience managing fleets, with full involvement in operations and direct supervision of operational staff.
* Experience managing the Operations Department as the responsible Manager overseeing personnel such as dispatchers, diesel optimization analysts, geolocation and vehicle tracking analysts, and route operations supervisors.
* Assignment of trucks, trips, and routes, and supervision of their execution.
* Customer service regarding any matters related to assigned operations.
* Resolution of trip-related, driver-related, and customer-related issues.
* Management of KPIs and performance indicators.
* Knowledge of trip payment systems based on mileage, salary, commissions, or bonuses.
* Verifiable experience managing a minimum of 50 CDL drivers and approximately 150 B1 operators, including at least 25 Transfer operators.
* Familiarity with routes in Mexico and the USA.
* Verifiable experience in logistics and freight distribution, with the ability to develop and present a written, sustainable, and profitable operations plan to General Management.
* Existing client portfolio.
* Must maintain, manage, and control a mix of at least 60% dedicated clients and 40% new, variable clients, categorized by profitability.
* Knowledge of CTPAT standards.
* Comprehensive general knowledge of safety regulations in the USA.
* Comprehensive general knowledge of truck mechanics, tractor-trailer components, and dry van trailers.
* Comprehensive general knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance plans.
* Experience in budgeting and forecasting.
* Transportation cost structure (diesel, cost per mile, fixed expenses, etc.; the more detailed, the better).
* Thorough knowledge of transit times across various national routes in Mexico and the USA.
* Extensive knowledge of import and export processes.
· **English and Spanish: Must be fully bilingual.**
· Conduct route verifications jointly with the monitoring team to ensure proper vehicle transit.
· Develop operator rotation plans according to operational circumstances such as absences, delays, vacations, etc.
· Ensure correct assignment of vehicles to new operators and internal reassignments.
· Daily validation with monitoring staff of routes and tracking for owned and rented vehicles.
· Report to Human Resources any issues directly impacting operations and make immediate decisions to restore performance.
· Support any other tasks assigned by Management and/or Executive Leadership.
· Present, at least once per year, an improvement plan to the management team under their responsibility, maintaining a consistent strategic vision for the company.
· Experience in similar roles developing and implementing strategies to optimize costs, routes, distribution, warehousing, and services that ensure proper operations and customer service.
· Focus solely on monitoring and adhering to transportation safety protocols, and request support, changes, or improvements from the Safety Manager.
· Ensure fleet maintenance plans are executed according to schedule (preventive and corrective), collaborating closely with the Maintenance and Safety Managers.
· Evaluate and present diagnostics of the department, proposing alternatives to optimize transportation infrastructure usage, expansion, or acquisition, and assess associated cost impacts.
· Promote and lead a culture of continuous improvement, as well as training, development, and staff participation to enhance the overall development of all personnel under their supervision—both administrative\-operational teams and CDL drivers.

**Education or Academic Qualifications:**
Logistics, Industrial, International Trade, or Business Engineering degree; Bachelor’s or Engineering degree must be completed.

· Organization and planning of daily, weekly, and monthly activities.
· Must deliver satisfactory results to their direct supervisor and the Company President.
