Job Responsibilities: * Manage and supervise all aspects of plant accounting, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. * Prepare and analyze financial statements, forecasts, budgets, and variance reports, identifying trends and recommending corrective actions. * Develop and implement robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with corporate policies and GAAP. * Lead the annual budgeting process for the manufacturing facility, collaborating with departmental managers to establish realistic and achievable financial targets. * Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, including labor, material, and overhead, to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement. * Provide financial analysis and insights to plant management for decision\-making related to production planning, capital expenditures, and operational initiatives. * Oversee inventory valuation and reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and proper accounting treatment. * Coordinate and facilitate internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate responses to auditor requests. * Manage cash flow and working capital effectively to optimize financial performance. * Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a high\-performing and collaborative team environment. * Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal financial regulations and tax requirements. **Required Skills and Education** Job Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
