




**Area:** Maintenance / Operations **Sector:** Transportation (fifth wheel) **Position Purpose:** Ensure the availability, reliability, and optimal operability of the vehicle fleet (or transportation units) through the planning, coordination, and supervision of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance programs. Guarantee compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations while optimizing resources and operational costs. **Main Responsibilities:** * Plan and execute maintenance strategies to ensure continuous fleet operation. * Supervise compliance with preventive and corrective maintenance programs. * Manage the department's budget, controlling costs and seeking operational efficiency. * Coordinate with external suppliers for the procurement of spare parts, specialized services, and maintenance contracts. * Prepare technical and management reports for senior leadership. * Train, lead, and evaluate the technical team under supervision. * Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the department. * Promote continuous improvement in maintenance processes and fleet management. **Education:** * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Transportation, or related field. * Preferred specialization in maintenance management, logistics, or administration. **Experience:** * Minimum of 5 years in similar roles within the transportation sector. * Extensive knowledge in fleet maintenance (diesel). * Experience leading technical teams. **Technical Skills:** * Preventive and corrective maintenance systems. * Transportation and road safety regulations. * Budget and operational cost management. * Proficiency with maintenance software. * Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic fault diagnosis.
