**Job Summary** The CNC Programmer is responsible for developing, writing, and optimizing programs that control computer numerical control (CNC) machines. The primary objective is to ensure the manufacturing of high-precision parts, meeting technical specifications, quality standards, and production deadlines. **Main Responsibilities** * Develop, test, and optimize CNC programs using G\-code and CAM software. * Set up CNC machines (lathes, milling machines, machining centers, etc.) for production. * Select appropriate cutting tools, tool holders, and machining parameters. * Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, 3D models, and engineering specifications. * Perform first-article inspections and verify dimensional tolerances. * Ensure compliance with quality standards (ISO, AS or equivalents). * Identify and resolve programming, tooling, or machining process issues. * Propose improvements in machining processes to optimize cycle times and reduce waste. * Document programs, setups, and revisions in an organized manner. * Collaborate with operators, engineers, and production supervisors. **Requirements** * Minimum of 4 years of experience as a CNC Programmer or Machinist with programming responsibilities. * Advanced knowledge of G\-code, M\-code, and CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, GibbsCAM, or others). * Proficiency in blueprint reading, CAD, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD\&T). * Experience using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, CMM). * Knowledge of metallic and plastic materials used in machining. * Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and focus on quality. * Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively. * English **Education** * Technical high school diploma, technical degree in machine tools, manufacturing, or related field, or equivalent. * Preferred: Higher education in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or similar.
