




Job Summary: We are seeking an innovative Packaging and Design Engineer to conceptualize and develop packaging solutions, optimize designs, and ensure regulatory compliance. Key Highlights: 1. Packaging & Design Engineer (Packaging and Design Engineer) Gender: Unrestricted Age: 25 to 55 years Education: Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Design. Language: Advanced English Proficiency in CAD (SolidEdge, AutoCAD) and 3D modeling printing. More than 3 years of experience in packaging design (consumer electronics, food and beverage, or industrial products preferred). Job Responsibilities: • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and develop innovative packaging designs aligned with our brand identity and user experience goals. • Conduct thorough analysis and testing to ensure packaging solutions effectively protect products from environmental factors, impact, vibration, and contamination during transportation and storage. • Stay current with industry regulations and standards, especially those related to food safety, pharmaceuticals, and hazardous materials. • Ensure our packaging solutions comply with all necessary regulatory requirements. • Optimize packaging designs for cost efficiency while maintaining quality standards. Identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve production processes. • Drive sustainability initiatives by integrating environmentally responsible practices into packaging design and production processes. Seek to reduce the environmental impact of our packaging. • Establish and oversee quality control protocols for packaging machinery and production, conducting rigorous testing to maintain consistent quality. • Monitor performance of existing packaging solutions, gather feedback, and implement improvements to enhance usability and product protection. • Work closely with the sales department, supply chain professionals, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration of packaging solutions into the overall product development process. • Proficiency in CAD-based packaging design software and familiarity with packaging testing equipment and methods. Skills: • Strong problem-solving ability and mechanical-electrical-pneumatic reasoning. • Experience in cost analysis and value engineering. • Knowledge of sustainability practices (recyclability, material substitution). • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. • Project management skills; ability to manage multiple NPI packaging projects. • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under deadlines. Knowledge: • Proficiency in CAD (SolidEdge, AutoCAD) and 3D modeling printing. • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes. • Experience preparing specifications and test reports. • In-depth knowledge of packaging materials, including plastics, cardboard, metals, and sustainable alternatives. Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM Work Location: Querétaro Salary: MXN 45,000 – 70,000 net, depending on experience; this is a mixed-salary structure — only a proportional portion is registered officially, while the remainder is paid as net income.
