




Position Summary: The Maintenance Supervisor plans, coordinates, and supervises preventive and corrective maintenance activities for equipment and facilities in cold storage warehouses. Equipment and vendor management Job Description: The Maintenance Supervisor must plan, coordinate, and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities for the equipment and facilities of cold storage warehouses, with emphasis on CO₂ cooling systems, ensuring operational continuity and compliance with safety standards. Responsibilities: * Plan and execute the preventive maintenance program for CO₂ refrigeration equipment, compressors, evaporators, and condensers. * Supervise corrective maintenance activities in refrigerated chambers and blast freezers. * Coordinate repair and maintenance of trailer arrival doors (dock levelers, dock plates, and seals). * Supervise maintenance of forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and pallet handling equipment. * Manage inventory of spare parts and maintenance consumables. * Manage the technical team: task assignment, training, and performance evaluation. * Coordinate with the Quality department on technical requirements to maintain TIF certification. * Record work orders and completed maintenance tasks in the WMS system. * Manage contracts with specialized maintenance vendors. * Prepare reports on maintenance program compliance and KPIs. * Coordinate with Safety and Hygiene departments on safe procedures for confined space work. * Control the department’s budget and propose investments for equipment improvement. Experience: * 5–8 years in industrial maintenance. * Minimum 2 years of experience with CO₂ or ammonia refrigeration systems. Knowledge and Skills: * CO₂ refrigeration systems (advanced) * Industrial electricity (advanced) * Preventive and corrective maintenance * Reading of technical drawings and instruments * Work order management * WMS (Korber One) and/or SAP proficiency * CMMS software (maintenance management) * Technical leadership * Problem solving * Planning * Effective communication * Working under pressure Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree, Engineering degree, or Advanced Technical Diploma (Mechanical, Electromechanical, Refrigeration, or related field). * Degree preferred. * Language: Spanish required; basic technical English. * 5–8 years of experience in industrial maintenance. * Minimum 2 years of experience with CO₂ or ammonia refrigeration systems. * Advanced knowledge of CO₂ refrigeration and industrial electricity (non-negotiable).
