




Position Summary: Analyzes, coordinates, and documents shipment logistics, generates customs documentation, and ensures compliance with regulations and certifications in international trade. Key Responsibilities: 1. Manages import/export logistics and customs documentation. 2. Ensures compliance with security and certification requirements (C-TPAT, OEA, VAT). 3. Maintains the Annex 24 system and proposes logistical and tariff-related improvements. Description and details of responsibilities 1\.\- Analyzes efficient options for documenting and coordinating shipment logistics and tracks materials in transit for import and export. 2\.\- Generates required documentation for International Customs and Mexican Customs, such as import/export invoices, tariff calculations, and Control of Equipment and Materials Imported/Exported to/from Mexico, etc., leveraging knowledge of applicable non-tariff regulations and restrictions. 3\.\- Proposes logistical routes for new products and/or cost-reduction improvements, and maintains direct communication with customs brokers in Mexico and abroad, inspectors, document processors, carriers, and warehouse staff to ensure smooth material flow. 4\.\- Ensures compliance with security programs and/or certifications (C\-TPAT, OEA (Authorized Economic Operator), VAT) within its processes and/or logistical flows. 5\.\- Maintains comprehensive proficiency in using the Annex 24 system (Inventory Control System for International Trade) and contributes to its maintenance by adhering to established procedures. 6\.\- Participates in and/or develops operational and customs compliance procedures and/or manuals, and is responsible for reviewing, safeguarding, and ensuring customs compliance in its international trade files. 7\.\- Interacts in English with suppliers and sister plants, carriers, to achieve position objectives. 8\.\- Manages the ERP system to extract information for international trade operations. 9\.\- Is trained to audit, per established procedures, documents, operations, and/or international trade files for compliance; coordinates and authorizes customs entry closures as applicable; and can analyze and propose the application of tariff benefits. 10\.\- Participates in reconciliation activities, balance adjustments, and Annex 24 analysis. Experience and Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position. Advanced English.
