The role involves defining front-end and back-end architecture, ensuring code quality, and executing projects using agile methodologies, aligning technology with business objectives. Responsibilities * Analyze functional and technical requirements together with business and technology teams. * Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using **Liferay 7 or higher**. * Participate in defining **front-end and back-end architecture**. * Implement web components following **HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript** standards. * Apply **Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)** and **design patterns** during development. * Implement portlets, themes, and layouts according to **Liferay DXP** best practices. * Ensure correct implementation of **Liferay Cloud (Workflows)** from development through production. * Collaborate using agile methodologies (Scrum) with the Product Owner and Technical Lead. * Review, optimize, and refactor code to ensure quality, maintainability, and performance. * Identify technical and architectural risks during sprints. * Align development with organizational technology architecture. Requirements * Bachelor’s degree or Engineering in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. * Intermediate to advanced English. * Minimum **3 years of web development experience with Liferay**. * Proven experience with **Liferay 7 or higher**. * Solid understanding of **software architecture concepts (front-end and back-end)**. * Proficiency in **Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)**. * Practical application of **design patterns**. * Proficiency in **JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, jQuery, and JSON**. * Experience with **Bootstrap and/or YUI3**. * Knowledge of the **MVC pattern**. * Consumption of **SOAP and REST web services**. * Familiarity with **Liferay Developer Studio, Layout Templates, and Themes**. * Experience with **Liferay Cloud (Workflows)**. * Use of tools such as **Git, Visual Studio Code, Jira, and Confluence**. * Knowledge of application servers including **WebLogic, Apache, and Liferay Portal**. * Experience with **UML**. * Knowledge of **Google Analytics, SEO, and email marketing**.
