Reporting:
* The Integration Engineer will report directly to the GENERAL MANAGER and the REGIONAL INTEGRATION MANAGER.
* Constant interaction with Proposal, Sales, Procurement, Project Management, and Engineering departments at our headquarters in Italy (ABI Integration e Industrial).
**MAIN OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
Business:
* Identification of technical integration requirements across various disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, I&C, Civil) to detail and track them, whether for existing (Brownfield) or new (Greenfield) projects.
* Preliminary or basic engineering for mechanical (piping), electrical (cabling, electrical panels, transformers), and auxiliary equipment (absorption chillers, BESS, TPs, TCs, meters, etc.) sizing during the commercial phase of projects, supporting the Sales Team.
* Preparation of diagrams such as P&ID, Single-Line Electrical Diagrams, or Layouts.
* Interaction with local suppliers to request and evaluate quotations for equipment or services supply during both the commercial and execution phases of projects.
* Preparation of budgets for electromechanical works to be performed on-site, including materials and services, and monitoring of these budgets during the execution phase.
* Support in local adaptation and definition of technical solutions for industrial systems, focusing on cogeneration and thermal recovery projects, while ensuring compliance with technical, safety, and best-practice standards.
* Support and preparation of material lists for project execution, anticipating potential technical issues in collaboration with the PM (Project Manager) and the Regional Integration Manager.
* Preparation of Requests for Quotation (RFQ) for subcontracting mechanical and electrical fieldwork execution.
* Evaluation of diverse technical descriptions and supplier quotations that form part of the integration scope, aiming to eliminate potential supply and integration conflicts with other components.
* Adaptation of deliverables to final customers according to regulatory and technical standards focused on natural gas and electrical installations.
* Facilitation of integration of new systems into existing infrastructure, ensuring compatibility and resource optimization.
* Evaluation of implemented systems and processes, proposing continuous improvements.
* Keeping up-to-date with regulations governing the markets in which we operate, ensuring project compliance with legal requirements.
* Reporting technical improvements to detailed engineering teams at headquarters and/or third parties.
* Preparation of engineering checklists and quality controls.
Personal:
* Collaboration with cross-functional teams (engineering, procurement, finance, sales) to develop technical and commercial proposals addressing project integration needs.
* Acquisition and application of knowledge related to the company’s operational areas.
* Continuous pursuit of technical and professional skill development, including use of engineering tools (AutoCAD, Advanced Excel) and participation in training programs.
* Demonstration of adaptability to new technologies and processes.
**MAIN ACTIVITY**
* Field engineering development for project integration at the client site, including industrial products shipped from headquarters and others procured locally
* Coordination with central headquarters engineering for development of mechanical and electrical fieldworks
* Multidisciplinary Project Coordination: Evaluate, integrate, and manage technical projects involving multiple disciplines, ensuring efficiency and regulatory compliance
* Technical Adaptation and Solutions: Contribute to adapting and defining technical solutions for efficient implementation of cogeneration or on-site generation projects
* Collaboration and Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with multifunctional teams to develop proposals and suggest improvements in operational efficiency
* Willingness to travel within Mexico and internationally
Time allocation: 50% field – 50% office

* You hold a university degree in Energy, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
* Knowledge of thermodynamics and energy is valued
* You have 10 years of experience in the cogeneration (preferably), energy, or industrial facilities industry
* You are capable of managing multidisciplinary and simultaneous projects (up to 5 at once)
* You can evaluate multidisciplinary technical projects and project “tropicalization” (local adaptation)
* You are passionate about the sustainable energy sector (cogeneration, biogas, biomethane) and wish to specialize your career in this field

* You have a good command of English or Italian (preferably)
* You are flexible, curious, detail-oriented, and possess strong analytical skills
* You can work autonomously without losing team focus

* You hold a valid driver’s license (Category B)
* You can read and develop engineering drawings (Layouts, P&ID, Electrical Diagrams, Control Diagrams, etc.)
* You can specify low-complexity mechanical components, piping, instrumentation, and electrical elements (cables, transformers, medium-voltage switchboards, etc.)
* You are familiar with Mexican technical standards
* You have knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Inventor
* You have the ability to comment on and organize engineering activity development
