Primary Responsibilities (Web & Mobile)** Web Development: Design, code, and deploy new web applications from scratch using Laravel, ensuring a scalable architecture and efficient use of templating engines (Blade). Audit and Support of Existing Code: Analyze and deeply understand current code (Web and Mobile) to diagnose bugs, optimize performance, and ensure operational continuity of active platforms. Mobile Development (React Native + Expo): Develop new features for mobile applications, performing technical reviews of existing code to standardize processes and improve app stability. Unified Application Integration: Centralize business logic in the Backend (Laravel) to serve as a robust core feeding both web developments and mobile applications synchronously. Optimization and Diagnostics: Ability to identify obsolete or poorly structured code sections and propose improvements to prevent future failures and ensure long-term maintainability of the platform. Optimization and Proactive Maintenance: Ability to identify obsolete or poorly structured code sections and propose improvements. This includes identifying areas for improvement in legacy code, consistently applying security patches, and managing migrations to stable versions of Laravel and mobile libraries to ensure the platform remains secure and easy to maintain. Technical Documentation Generation: Create and maintain detailed technical manuals covering system architecture, database diagrams, user flows, and API documentation (Endpoints). **2. Technical Requirements (Web Full-Stack):** Web and Backend Development (Laravel) Modern PHP (v8.3+): Proficiency with the latest PHP versions, focusing on writing clean, secure, and well-structured code. Laravel Framework (v10+): Experience using Laravel to build robust systems. This includes database handling (Eloquent), creation of security filters (Middlewares), and programming automated tasks (Jobs/Queues). Database (MySQL): Ability to design organized databases and, especially, to fix slow queries affecting current page performance. Blade Interfaces: Experience using Blade (Laravel’s templating engine) to support, modify, or create new screens in existing web applications. Frontend and Styling: Knowledge of JavaScript (for interactivity such as menus or validations) and CSS (using Tailwind or Bootstrap) to ensure professional-looking, responsive pages adaptable to mobile devices. Payment Gateway Integration: Experience implementing payment services (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, Mercado Pago, or similar). Ability to manage webhooks (real-time payment confirmations), refunds, recurring subscriptions, and secure handling of sensitive data under security regulations. API Design and Consumption (REST & SOAP): Experience both creating and consuming RESTful APIs and SOAP protocols. **Mobile Development (React Native + Expo)** React Native: Proficiency in building functional UIs and using Hooks for application logic. Expo Ecosystem: Experience with navigation structure (Expo Router) and technical configuration of the application (manifest files and credentials). EAS (Expo Application Services): Ability to generate installation packages and manage the full publication process on App Store and Google Play Store. Data Synchronization (State Management): Ability to manage user information throughout the application (using tools like Zustand, Redux, or Context API). D. Version Control and Quality Tools Git and Version Control: Ability to manage code change history, work with branches (branching) to develop new features without disrupting existing functionality, and safely merge changes. Command Line Interface (CLI): Fluent use of terminal to execute essential development commands such as Artisan (Laravel), Composer (PHP), and NPM (JavaScript). **3. Desirable Requirements (not mandatory but valuable):** Server Administration and Deployment: Experience using management tools such as Ploi or Laravel Forge, and basic handling of cloud-based virtual private servers (VPS) like DigitalOcean or AWS. Migration and Upgrade Capability: Experience upgrading applications from older Laravel versions to newer ones (e.g., from v8 to v11), ensuring uninterrupted system operation during the process. Image and Load Optimization: Ability to improve loading speed for both web and mobile apps (resource compression and cache management). Third-Party Service Integration: Experience connecting the platform with external services such as email delivery (Mailgun/AWS SES), push notifications. **4. Soft Skills:** Dynamic Task Management (Context Switching): Ability to efficiently switch between technical support for the web platform and development of new mobile features while maintaining focus and productivity. Holistic Product Vision: Ability to analyze how a web update impacts the mobile user experience, ensuring both platforms grow coherently and harmoniously. Documentation Habit: Ability and discipline to write clear manuals and documentation explaining how the code works. The goal is for any other developer to understand the system without relying on verbal explanations.
