Acts as a liaison with the payroll provider, handles employee inquiries, and manages records and benefits. This position works 100% on-site in Guadalupe, NL **Key Tasks and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)** ----------------------------------------------------------- * Process and review regular and special payrolls, including severance payments, in accordance with the Federal Labor Law * Validate calculations performed by the payroll provider and ensure correct payments * Ensure legal compliance in IMSS, Infonavit, Fonacot, child support, and taxes * Manage personnel files and individual employment contracts * Address employee inquiries regarding payments, receipts, employment letters, and benefits * Coordinate enrollment in insurance, delivery of voucher cards, and bank account setup * Manage pre-payroll processes: attendance incidents, deductions, bonuses, union dues * Operate time and attendance system: disabilities, period closing, hour banks * Resolve payroll issues and propose improvements in calculations and processes * Execute special payments: PTU, Christmas bonus, annual bonus, vacation premium, savings fund, etc. * Participate in payroll projects, system testing, and new operational requirements **Experience (Minimum Required Experience)** ---------------------------------------------- * Completed Bachelor's degree * English: Intermediate * 3 to 5 years of experience in: + Mexican payroll processes (weekly, biweekly, fortnightly) + Severance calculation and payroll management for over 1,000 employees + Labor legislation: Federal Labor Law, IMSS, SUA, Infonavit, Fonacot + Payroll and attendance systems (preferably SAP) * Key skills: + Analytical thinking and attention to detail + Adherence to policies and confidential handling of information + Problem-solving and customer orientation + Autonomy and teamwork + Proficiency in Microsoft Office + Excellent time management We value diversity and are an equal opportunity employer.
