**Job Summary**

To be the subject matter expert in the Backend process engineering. Define, develop and implement a manufacturing strategy for Electronics Backend proceses such as Wave Solder , Selective Solder, Conformal Coating, Auto Insertion PTH Machines, Routers and depanelizer processes.
Responsible to lead the manufacturing best practices in order to achieve the customer and product goals such as FPY, Scrap Rate and OEE for the different processes and machines.
Responsible to implement a continous improvement plan for Wave Solder process,
Lead the development and implementation of transformation strategies aligned with the organization´s goals and objectives by identyfing the opportunities for manufacturing, evaluate emerging technologies and asses their potential impact on the business.
Define, develop and implement a Manufacturing strategy, which contributes to all diferent electronics\-SMT strategic directions. Serve as the go\-to authority on manufacturing engineering, stay up to date with industry trends and best practices. Provide expert guidance to leadership and stake holders, identify and create the gap analysis.
Lead the business cases through deep return over investment analysis (ROIC) and create the road map.
Drive organizational changes aligned with the organization metrics and goals, using our shared values and competences, following the Art of ths possible methodology in order to create a solid and self\-directed team to operate and improve.
Develop metrics and KPIs to monitor the success and impact of the manufacturing program across existing product portfolio and new product introduction. Translating priorities into operational plans by aligning communication, accountabilities, resource capabilities, internal processes, and ongoing measurement systems to ensure that activities yield measurable and sustainable results.
**Key Tasks \& Responsibilities (Essential Functions)**

* Create, define the overall engineering strategy for SMT (Surface Mounted Technology) processes. Including the Capacity Model for SMT Machinery such as Pick and Place, Wave Solder, ICT, Functional.
Identify , create, sustain subject matter experts for the SMT \- Electronics process.
* Define and create a system to implement the best manufacturing SMT and electronics processes.
Drive SMT\-Electronics process improvement events by creating a culture and setup a journey for the operational Excellence according the SMT \- Electronics Industry.
* Coordinate, create and ensure the correct Quality systems, metrics and tools in all Electronic plants. Create a roadmap for Testing engineering to ensure the correct asset utilization and to cover the quality levels with the highest rate for coverage , protect the customer.
* Create and define the future of Electronics Assembly by identifying , selecting and optimizing the best equipment for SMT, Testing, Backend , create an AVL (authorized vendor list) for all electronics manufacturing processes.
* Work with NPI and Quality team to establish a strategic plan for short and long term Quality improvement progams and innitatives for Electronics Manufacturing.
* Leads the Electronics DFX strategies to ensure the art of the possible design guidelines implementations.
Create and plan process improvement programs (BSF events) model to ensure Art of The possible or World Class manufacturing processses.
