




**Basic Function** Under the direction of the director International Trade Compliance, the Import/Export Supervisor Mexico is responsible to facilitate and oversee import/export operations for all Mexico business unit operations **Specific Responsibilities** * Develop and own the Mexico trade compliance training program in coordination with the Director International Trade Compliance. * Draft guidance documentation and processes in line with Corporate Trade policies, procedures, and local requirements. * Create and oversee a regional trade compliance training program. * Establish and maintain a trade compliance metrics dashboard and reporting cadence. * Develop and implement audits to ensure compliant import and export transactions; participate in corrective measures. * Maintain IMMEX and USMCA program oversight including driving timely and compliant submissions. * Drive efficiencies and cost savings through adherence to USMCA. * Understand and articulate changes to the IMMEX and USMCA programs to ensure compliance. * Monitor for changes in the regional regulatory landscape, communicate impacts to the applicable businesses, and lead projects/enhancements required * Establish controls and provide guidance to business unit operations. * Shared accoutability for Mexican Customs bróker relationship. * Participate in representing the business to government agencies with respect to trade inquiries and audits. * Participate in CTPAT program Management. **Additional Responsibilities** * Participate in Trade Compliance projects while obtaining buy\-in and effecting change across multiple departments * Lead quarterly business reviews with customs brokers * Analytical support for different aspects of supply chain and trade compliance to enable landed/sourcing cost strategies and duty avoidance opportunities * Provide reporting on demand, track issues, and communicate feedback to leadership * Knowledge and some experience of other roles within department to provide support as needed **R****elationships and Contacts** Supervisory Relationships: Reports to Director International Trade Compliance. Organization Relationships: * Continual contact with the legal, logistics and transportation/logistics/supply chain, and finance, tax and U.S. trade compliance associates. * Frequent contact with purchasing, international sales administration, IT, and accounting departments. Occasional contact with IT and accounting departments.
