




Responsibilities: **. Environment** * **Environmental legal compliance:** Ensure the company complies with all environmental laws, regulations, and permits. * **Waste management:** Control segregation, storage, transportation, and final disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste. * **Emission and discharge control:** Monitor and minimize air emissions, wastewater discharges, and soil contamination. * **Efficient resource use:** Promote energy efficiency, reduction in water and raw material consumption. * **Environmental emergency management:** Prepare contingency plans for spills, leaks, or other environmental incidents. * **Environmental audits:** Conduct inspections and internal audits to ensure compliance with standards. **2\. Occupational Health (Health)** * **Health risk assessment:** Identify factors that may affect workers' health (noise, chemicals, ergonomics, etc.). * **Medical surveillance:** Coordinate pre-employment, periodic, and retirement medical examinations. * **Wellness programs:** Promote health campaigns, vaccinations, nutrition, and stress management. * **Occupational disease control:** Prevent and monitor cases of work-related illnesses. * **Ergonomic conditions:** Evaluate and improve workstations to prevent musculoskeletal injuries. **3\. Industrial Safety (Safety)** * **Hazard identification and risk assessment (HIRA):** Analyze tasks to determine risks and establish controls. * **Safety training:** Train personnel in safe procedures, use of PPE (personal protective equipment), and emergency response. * **Incident investigation:** Analyze accidents and incidents to identify root causes and prevent recurrence. * **Safety inspections:** Conduct periodic inspections of equipment, tools, and facilities. * **Contractor management:** Ensure contractors comply with the company's EHS standards. * **Emergency and evacuation plans:** Design and conduct drills for fire, leaks, earthquakes, or other events. **4\. EHS Management and Culture** * **Implementation of management systems:** Design, maintain, and audit integrated management systems. * **Performance indicators:** Monitor safety, health, and environmental KPIs (e.g.: accident rate, energy consumption, waste generated). * **Communication and awareness:** Promote a culture of safety and sustainability at all organizational levels. * **Regulatory liaison:** Serve as point of contact with regulatory agencies and respond to external audits or inspections. **Work permits for working at heights, welding operations, safety and equipment.** (manage permits, training).
