We are currently seeking a: Sterilization Process Inspector**Job Description** =================== **Responsibilities:** * Maintain and promote a culture and safe working environment among colleagues and other personnel in the PPE sterilization process plant—particularly when preparing, conditioning, loading, sampling, and delivering Process Challenge Devices (PCDs) and sterile product samples required to challenge the Ethylene Oxide sterilization process at the PPE plant and at the service provider; additionally support validation activities and/or sterilization projects from other areas, including but not limited to: Quality, R\&D, Quality Engineering, etc. **Key Responsibilities:** * *Foster a safe environment by complying with applicable safety measures, standards, procedures, and safeguards in day-to-day operations within BD facilities, ensuring an environment free of unsafe conditions and acts aligned with company values.* * *Prepare and condition Process Challenge Devices (PCDs) using appropriate materials, instruments, and equipment for the process, to serve as challenges for the Ethylene Oxide sterilization process.* * *Load Process Challenge Devices (PCDs) and product samples, distributing them evenly across the product load to be sterilized by Ethylene Oxide.* * *Sample Process Challenge Devices (PCDs) and sterile product samples by retrieving them from processed loads for subsequent delivery to customer laboratories.* * *Support sterilization validation activities and/or projects by preparing, conditioning, loading, sampling, and delivering Process Challenge Devices (PCDs) and sterile product samples from areas such as R\&D and Quality Engineering, among others, to ensure compliance with current Validation Best Practices.* * *Manage production sterilization area material resources through proper usage to avoid excessive waste-related expenses.* * *Actively participate in assigned projects impacting continuous improvement, safety, and hygiene initiatives to achieve departmental objectives by adhering to procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).* * *Participate in investigations of safety- and product quality-related events and support tasks arising from such investigations—including but not limited to quality alert documentation, procedure updates, execution of validation protocols, training, etc.* * *Provide support to various departments within the Sterilization Process Plant. **Requirements:** * High school diploma or technical degree; completed or incomplete university degree. * Two years of experience as a Quality Inspector. * Knowledge of Documentation Best Practices. * Availability to work rotating shifts and weekends.
