This role plays a key part in ensuring **efficiency, quality, and compliance** in every process, working closely with different departments to achieve common goals and provide solutions that enhance customer satisfaction. **Responsibilities** * Plan, coordinate, and control all stages of synthetic leather production: mixing, coating, finishing, and color control. * Supervise compliance with established technical specifications and quality standards. * Validate formulations and production parameters in coordination with the laboratory and development department. * Monitor key performance indicators (productivity, waste, efficiency, quality, downtime). * Coordinate testing of new products, pigments, or coatings. * Manage production personnel, ensuring their training, discipline, and safety. * Ensure preventive maintenance programs for machinery and equipment are followed. * Collaborate with quality, engineering, and laboratory departments to resolve technical or process issues. * Implement and promote continuous improvement practices and efficient manufacturing methodologies (Lean Manufacturing, 5S, etc.). * Control the use of raw materials, pigments, and additives to minimize waste. * Ensure compliance with industrial safety and hygiene regulations within the production area. * Experience in ISO, IATF, and TISAX certification processes. **Education:** * Degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Science, or related field. **Experience:** * Minimum of 4 years in similar roles within the synthetic leather, plastics, coatings, tanning, or composite materials industries. * Proven experience in laboratory work, color formulation, coatings, finishes, and process control. **Technical Knowledge:** * Coating, calendaring, mixing, and finishing processes for synthetic leather. * Color control and color theory. * Pigment and additive formulation. * Knowledge of quality standards and ISO processes. * Control of production parameters (temperatures, viscosities, thicknesses, etc.). * Basic knowledge of industrial machinery maintenance. * Continuous improvement methodologies. **Skills:** * Leadership and decision-making. * Technical problem analysis and resolution. * Effective communication and teamwork. * Results and quality orientation. * Planning and organization. **Gender:** No preference. **Availability:** Full-time, with availability for shift work or operational emergencies. **Working Conditions:** * On-site work at the production plant. * Industrial environment with controlled exposure to noise, pigments, and solvents. * Competitive salary according to experience and statutory benefits.
