Management of Research and Development teams A food manufacturing company focused on the production and export of guacamole is seeking an R&D MANAGER Profile: • Gender: Unspecified • Minimum 6 years of experience in new product development (specifically avocado and its derivatives) • Flexible working hours • Bachelor's degree in Food Chemical Engineering or related field — MANDATORY • Intermediate to advanced English — MANDATORY Knowledge Requirements: • Food science and processing, formulation, ingredients, packaging materials, and nutritional aspects • Labeling and regulatory compliance • Sensory evaluation • Measurement instruments • Project management • Sensory training for technicians and panelists • Personnel management Responsibilities: Responsible for developing and scaling up new products, and maintaining brand integrity of the existing portfolio across internal production facilities and contract manufacturers, aligned with company expectations. Manage the new product development laboratory and oversee innovation, development, and continuous improvement projects. Plan, execute, implement pilot and scale-up trials at internal plants and contract manufacturers; develop protocols and test reports; conduct shelf-life testing. Review and approve ECOs (Engineering Change Orders) for ingredients, packaging, and BOMs (Bills of Materials). Lead the Development and Research team. Document and manage technical and regulatory information, including customer specifications, certifications, claims-FCID, and customer platforms. And other duties as assigned.
