Opportunities for professional growth and development. ### **Connection Operator (Cell 2\)** **What Your Day Will Look Like** You will play an important role in manufacturing active components of connections by performing assigned processes, adhering to process sheet instructions, and ensuring compliance with applicable quality standards. You will operate small machines and perform manual tasks. **Your Responsibilities** * Reading drawings to identify critical characteristics requiring attention. * Crimping cables, installing sheet metal on active components, cable wrapping, and assembling cable supports. * Knowledge of Safety, Health, and Environment: Basic knowledge and benefits of using personal protective equipment, environmental impacts, hazardous waste, and basic plant safety rules. * Use of measuring instruments (Vernier caliper). * Familiarity with products used in the work area. * Awareness of quality criteria applied in the production area. * Autonomous maintenance: Must understand basic TPM concepts as applied to their machines and associated devices. * Deliver training: Train personnel requiring instruction at a workstation they master, using the shadowing method. * Complete self-inspections upon finishing and releasing completed work. **Requirements for the Position** * Secondary or high school education; basic computer skills. * One year of experience working with work instructions and quality criteria. * Flexible availability, teamwork orientation, punctuality in the workplace, discipline, respect for colleagues and team leaders, and adherence to internal work regulations. * **Type of employee:** Unionized * **Shift:** Rotating shifts (3 shifts) * **Weekly schedule:** Monday to Saturday**.** * **English language proficiency is not required** **About the Team** * The selected candidate will join a team comprising crimpers, cable wrappers, and sheet metal installers, all reporting to a Production Supervisor and team leaders. **What Is Siemens Energy?** At Siemens Energy, we are more than just an energy technology company.
