Position Summary: We are seeking an Operations Intern to support process automation, database management, and basic technical support, with a focus on developing scripts and ensuring data quality to improve operational efficiency. At Avantthya, a financial institution located in León, Gto., we are looking for an Operations Intern to support process automation, database management, and basic technical support for the Operations department. The role focuses on developing simple scripts (Python or Macros) and ensuring data quality to enhance operational efficiency. The selected candidate will collaborate with the Operations and IT teams on digitizing manual processes, maintaining automation tools, and generating reliable information for decision-making. Responsibilities * Develop simple Python scripts or Macros to replace repetitive manual tasks in the Operations department. * Support the extraction, cleaning, and organization of database (SQL) information to ensure report accuracy. * Monitor and update existing automation tools to ensure their daily proper functioning. * Prepare simple manuals and flowcharts for automated processes to retain knowledge within the company. * Participate in quality testing to verify that scripts and macros produce correct results without calculation errors. * Maintain organized code and shared files, always working on the latest available version. Desired Profile * Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or Engineering program in Computer Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields (from mid-semester onward). * Basic programming and logic knowledge, preferably in at least one language such as Python, Java, or JavaScript. * Basic database and SQL knowledge (simple queries, filtering, and information extraction). * Intermediate-level Excel proficiency: logical formulas and pivot tables; familiarity with Power Query or Macros is desirable. * Interest in learning about process automation, technical support, and data analysis. Skills: logical thinking, attention to detail, teamwork, clear communication, organization, and responsible handling of confidential information. What You’ll Do and What’s Expected of You: During your internship, you will support the automation of critical Operations processes, contribute to stable tool functionality, and produce documentation to facilitate work continuity. You are expected to help reduce execution time for manual tasks and improve the quality of information used in reports and internal decisions. Salary: $2,000\.00 per month Work Location: On-site employment
